Blanco Riverside Getaway is a little piece of the Texas Hill Country tucked right along the Blanco River in Blanco, Texas. It’s a place to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy the kind of quiet that’s hard to find these days.

We offer Tuscan-style Villas, colorful Riverside Cottages, and a small five-site RV park, so guests can choose the kind of stay that suits them best. The Villas are perfect for a romantic getaway, with private balconies and in-room whirlpool tubs that make it easy to relax and unwind. The Cottages are cozy and welcoming, with a more laid-back feel that’s perfect for settling in and staying awhile.

I’m Elissa Barker, and I’ve called Blanco home since 1996. Creating Blanco Riverside Getaway has truly been a labor of love for me. I wanted to create a place that feels peaceful, comfortable, and a little special—somewhere you can come to reconnect, celebrate, or just take a break from everything.

One of my favorite things about the property is how close we are to Blanco State Park. You can walk right through our private gate and be at the river in minutes—whether you’re fishing, floating, or just enjoying the view. And in the evenings, everything gets quiet in the best way. The sky opens up, the stars come out, and it just feels like you can finally exhale.

This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a place to make memories, to reconnect, and to enjoy the simple things again. I’m so glad you’re here, and I truly look forward to hosting you.

Everything and more than it says. Great location with the state park for a back yard, and the front within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The room itself is amazing...beautifully decorated,and made for comfort. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and peaceful place. We did get to meet our host and she awesome, very accommodating, and fast response. I'm pretty sure we will be going back. Thank you so much for sharing, it was wonderful.
