Do the cottages have kitchenettes?
Yes. Every cottage includes a kitchenette with a kitchen sink, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and dining area. These are kitchenettes rather than full kitchens, but they provide the essentials for drinks, snacks, leftovers, and simple meals.
Do the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves?
Yes. All cottages and villas have a mini refrigerator and microwave.
Do the rooms have coffee makers?
Yes. Every cottage and villa includes a 4-cup coffee maker. Coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, and basic coffee supplies are provided.
Is there an ice machine?
No. There is currently no shared ice machine on the property.
Most room refrigerators include a small freezer compartment and ice trays. Additional ice can be purchased at convenience stores and grocery stores a few minutes away in downtown Blanco.
Which Villas have private balconies?
Villa 3 and Villa 4 are upstairs and feature private balconies overlooking Blanco State Park and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

Yes. Complimentary high-speed WiFi is available in the cottages, villas, and RV sites.
Do the rooms have TVs?
Yes. All cottages and villas feature Roku Smart TVs with access to streaming services and free channels. Guests can sign in to their own streaming accounts during their stay.

Yes. All villas feature a two-person Whirlpool tub, making them a popular option for couples and romantic Texas Hill Country getaways.

Is Blanco Riverside Getaway pet friendly?
Yes. Dogs are welcome in Green Oasis Cottage, Coral Cottage and the RV park. A maximum of two dogs is allowed per accommodation, and a pet fee applies. Pets must remain leashed outside, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.
How much is the pet fee?
The pet fee is $25 per stay for pet-friendly cottages: Green Oasis and Coral Cottage.
Are pets allowed in the villas?
No. Pets are not permitted in the villas.
Guests traveling with dogs should choose Coral Cottage, Green Oasis Cottage, or an RV site.

What is the cancellation policy?
The current cancellation policy is:
- Cancellations 14 or more days before check-in receive a full refund.
- Cancellations less than 14 days before check-in forfeit the deposit.
- Same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Blanco Riverside Getaway uses self-check-in, so guests can arrive at their convenience after check-in begins.

Early check-in may be available beginning at 1:00 PM for a $25 fee, subject to availability.

Can I check out late?
Late check-out may be available until 12:00 PM for a $25 fee, subject to availability and advance approval.
How does self-check-in work?

Yes. Blanco Riverside Getaway shares a property line with Blanco State Park, making it one of the closest lodging options to the park. Guests receive complimentary walk-in access through our private gate, so you can reach swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking trails, picnic areas, and the Blanco River without having to drive and park.
What should I bring for a day on the Blanco River?
For a comfortable river day, consider bringing a swimsuit, towels, sunscreen, water shoes or sandals, sunglasses, a hat, drinking water, and snacks.
If you plan to fish or paddle, bring your own fishing gear, kayak, paddleboard, or tube as needed, along with appropriate life jackets.
Because your cottage or villa is only a short walk away, it's easy to return to your accommodations during the day.
Does Blanco Riverside Getaway provide kayaks, paddleboards, or tubes?
No. Blanco Riverside Getaway does not currently provide kayaks, paddleboards, tubes, or other river equipment.
Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment and use the property's private walk-in access to Blanco State Park.
Can you swim in the Blanco River at Blanco Riverside Getaway?
Yes. Guests can walk through our private gate into Blanco State Park and access the park's Blanco River swimming area. The main swimming area is a short walk from the property.
River conditions and water levels can change, so guests should always use appropriate caution and follow current park guidance.
Can I go tubing on the Blanco River?
Tubing may be possible when river conditions allow. The Blanco River is generally slower-moving than some of Texas's better-known tubing rivers, so the experience varies considerably with rainfall and water levels.
During warmer months, guests also enjoy floating, wading, swimming, and relaxing along the river.
Can I kayak on the Blanco River?
Yes. Kayaking can be a great way to explore the Blanco River when water levels and river conditions are favorable.
Guests should check current conditions before launching. Bring a properly fitting life jacket and follow all applicable Texas boating and water-safety requirements.

Yes. Guests can fish along the Blanco River inside Blanco State Park, which is directly accessible from Blanco Riverside Getaway through our private gate.
